The Yogurt Parfait that Hits Different

Sometimes the best recipes aren’t fancy. They’re fast, functional, and hit your sweet spot without blowing up your day.

One of my go-to’s lately? A peanut butter, banana, chocolate chip yogurt parfait. Say that five times fast — then make it in under five minutes. It tastes like dessert, fuels your muscles, and keeps you full. And yes, it fits into a fat-loss plan.

Here’s what goes into it:

  • 1 cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt (your protein base)
  • 2 tablespoons PB2 or powdered peanut butter (big flavor, fewer calories)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 of a banana, sliced (fiber, potassium, satisfaction)
  • A sprinkle of chocolate chips (because you’re human)

That’s it. Mix it up and eat it right away. No need to freeze, chill, or Instagram it.

Let’s talk macros:
~250 calories. 22g of protein. 6g of fiber.
It satisfies that peanut-butter-chocolate craving without the sugar crash or 600-calorie detour.

I see this all the time: people trying to get lean by cutting joy out of their meals. No need. If your meals make you miserable, your plan won’t last. Recipes like this prove you can enjoy your food and reach your goals.

Food guilt and complicated meals don't help us get lean. But delicious, nutritious meals do. You need meals that work for your appetite, your energy, and your goals.
