My Go-To Lunch: Tasty High Protein Sandwich

This turkey, bacon, Swiss open-face sandwich hits the spot. With 450 calories and ~45 grams of protein!

1) I start with 2 slices of Sara Lee's Delightful 100% whole wheat bread. (Watch me assemble this tasty sandwich on Instagram here).

2) I add 4 slices of Trader Joe's Uncured Turkey Bacon.

3) I add 2 MORE slices of Columbus Craft Meats oven roasted turkey breast.

4) Then I put 2 slices of Jarlsberg Lite reduced fat Swiss cheese.

5) Don't forget the roasted red pepper! It adds so much flavor.


6) Finally I get the secret ingredient: A little G Hughes Sugar Free Dipping Sauce (I like to use Famous Cluckin').

This sandwich is nutritious and delicious. And it only takes 5 minutes to make. Enjoy!

Tip: Read the labels carefully for nutritional information, trying to avoid nitrates as much as possible. Low sodium choices are good, and lower calorie versions of ingredients allow you to indulge without gorging!
