The problem? Most store-bought granolas are basically dessert disguised as breakfast. Loaded with sugar, oils, and calories that add up fast.

Enter: Muskoka Granola.
The brainchild of our dear friend Abbi.

Fewer ingredients. Less sugar. Fewer calories.
And it’s still crunchy, golden, and dangerously addictive.

Perfect over yogurt. Perfect with berries. Perfect straight from the pan.

Recipe: Muskoka Granola

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp flaxseeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup melted coconut oil
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 3 egg whites, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. In a large bowl, mix oats, flax, chia, cinnamon, salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk coconut oil, maple syrup, egg whites, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour wet into dry and stir until just moistened.
  5. Spread evenly, press flat with a spatula, and bake for 50–55 minutes, until golden at the edges.

That’s it. Clean, simple, high-fiber, protein-boosted granola that won’t send your calories through the roof.
