Ingredients

  • 4 slices 45-calorie whole wheat bread
  • 1 cup egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Instructions
Soak the bread slices in the egg whites and vanilla mixture until fully absorbed.

Place two slices at a time into a preheated waffle iron. Cook for a few minutes, or until they reach your preferred texture. They're great softer or crispier. It just depends on how long you leave them in.
